Korean personal-import requirements
- Korea Customs Service says personal-use express cargo with a total customs value, including relevant costs, of no more than US$150 may qualify for duty and VAT exemption.
- When the value exceeds US$150, duty and VAT can be assessed on the total customs value rather than only the excess.
- The recipient's Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC/PCC), name, phone number, and delivery details must match for e-commerce clearance.
- Food, supplements, certain cosmetics, quarantine goods, and other regulated items are excluded from simplified list clearance even when low in value.
Prepare a parcel for Korean clearance
- Ask the recipient to obtain and verify a Personal Customs Clearance Code before dispatch
- Use the recipient's exact registered name and reachable Korean phone number
- Declare specific item descriptions, quantities, and actual purchase values
- Check regulated products separately before combining them with ordinary merchandise
Thai fandom orders sent to Korea
Albums, photobooks, apparel, and acrylic merchandise are easier to document when every item remains identifiable. For group orders, keep member-level values and remember that consolidation can move the shipment above the US$150 personal-use threshold.

Rules, thresholds, carrier procedures, and government measures can change. The destination authority—not ThaiFanShip—makes the final import decision.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Korean Personal Customs Clearance Code?
Korea Customs Service requires a personal customs clearance code for e-commerce import declarations. The recipient should obtain it through the official UNI-PASS service and ensure the consignee details match.
Are Thai parcels under US$150 always tax-free?
Not always. The exemption is for qualifying personal-use goods, while regulated or excluded products can require a different clearance process regardless of value.
Can I consolidate several orders?
Yes, but Customs considers the consolidated shipment value. Compare the freight saving with the possibility of duty, VAT, or additional clearance.
