Shipping from Thailand to the USA

How to ship from Thailand with ThaiFanShip
- 1Create an account and receive your personal Bangkok warehouse address.
- 2Buy from the Thai seller yourself, or submit the item through Buy For Me.
- 3Register incoming parcels and wait for the selected orders to arrive.
- 4Request photos or packing protection where useful, then select parcels to consolidate.
- 5Enter the destination and review the live packed quote for currently available tracked services.
- 6Provide truthful customs information, pay the invoice, and track the shipment to your door.
Important U.S. customs change
- CBP states that duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value shipments from all countries was suspended from 29 August 2025.
- Do not assume a parcel valued at US$800 or less will enter duty-free; applicable duty, tax, fees, entry method, and carrier handling can still apply.
- Assessment depends on the product, value, country of origin, shipment method, and current U.S. measures—not only the country it ships from.
- Consumer products, especially children's products, may require additional CPSC data or certificates before shipment.
Prepare before requesting the shipment
- Use specific English item descriptions such as cotton T-shirt, printed photobook, or acrylic keychain
- Keep the actual purchase value and country of manufacture when known
- Complete any requested CPSC product information before the outbound quote is finalized
- Budget separately for possible U.S. duty, tax, carrier brokerage, and collection fees
For Thai BL, GL, and T-Pop collectors
Consolidation is useful for pre-orders that arrive weeks apart, but a larger combined value can change customs processing. Choose protection for boxsets, photocards, acrylic goods, and posters based on collector condition, then use the packed quote rather than estimating from domestic boxes.
